All members of the Gloryhunters (EverQuest II) guild are expected to adhere to the Gloryhunters Code of Conduct. Also, members are more likely to advance their standing in the guild through active Member Participation.
Code of Conduct
- Absolutely no use of cheats, trainer programs, exploits of software bugs (eg: hiding in walls etc.) will be tolerated. If you are found 'cheating' in any way, your Membership WILL be terminated immediately.
- Gloryhunters (GH) will abide by the principles of fair play, honesty, loyalty and friendship.
- We treat a Gloryhunter in the same way as we would like to be treated ourselves. Respect GH troops, comrades and all others that you play against. GH troops must NOT use bad or offensive language, abuse or offend others while playing under the Gloryhunters tag.
- We will carry ourselves in a way so as not to bring 'ill repute' upon the Gloryhunters. Remember - the negative actions of one member reflect badly upon the outfit as a whole.
- GH members are expected to read and participate in the Gloryhunters message forums as regularly as possible. The forums are where events, raids, results and other news will be posted.
- We do not lie or cheat. This is not tolerated in the real world, it will not be tolerated in the Gloryhunters.
- Under NO circumstances reveal your Teamspeak, Ventrillo, forum or email login credentials to ANYONE.
- It is expected that Gloryhunter members follow the rules laid down by Sony Online Entertainment or similar. Anyone breaking with these rules are breaking with the Gloryhunters.
- Anyone found breaking the rules should be reported to an Officer. They will firstly be spoken to and if they continue to break the rules they will have their membership revoked.
Disciplinary Action
If these rules are not complied with action may take the form of:-
- An Official Warning from a GH Officer,
- Demotion or suspension of guild rights,
- Or ultimately, your dismissal from GH
Member Participation
It is expected that GH members will be actively involved as much as possible with the Guild activities. This would include:- Raiding, Grouping, Questing, Player Events, Meetings, and anything else that is considered productive for the Guild.
What we consider active participation:-
- Attend Guild Meetings - This is obviously important as this would be where all members can submit their suggestions and feedback and keep updated on upcoming events.
- Attend Raids, Events and Quests - Members are expected to actively participate whenever possible. Participation draws members together and friendships can flourish. A great way to get to know each other and build an effective team.
- Guild Events - Planning Guild Events are not just the responsibility of the group leaders. All members are requested to participate in submitting ideas and assisting in the planning of Events, Raids, Quest and anything else that is required.
- Chats and Forums - Very important and essential. This is the only source of direct information and updates. All members are requested to participate on the forums as often and as much as possible. Some people are terrific at coming up with ideas and other in planning, researching or initiating. All ideas are welcome.
- Feedback and Comments - We acknowledge that no one is perfect (although some may think so!) We hope to make this as enjoyable as possible for all members and will appreciate any feedback. We cannot attempt to fix any problems or mistakes if we do not know about them. So members are encouraged to submit any comments they feel appropriate.
- Volunteers - ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL - Our Leaders are appointed on a volunteer basis. Considerable time and effort is utilised by our volunteers in order to ensure our Guild is successful and organised. There will be a number of opportunities for members to volunteer for various activities and this should be acknowledged and appreciated by all members. We would like to introduce a form of rewards for various activities.
